Murraywood Construction Limited is looking to grow their team with the acquisition of an experienced Surveyor/Estimator to join them at their head office in St. Helens to assist with projects within the North West.
Looking for an experienced person, who can work to often tight deadlines, with a large degree of autonomy and has a sound understanding of the estimating process, preferably in the groundworks/civils sector.
The successful applicant will be working within a small management team, with a range of duties to include:
- Preparation and negotiation of tenders
- Providing tender sum analysis
- Using technical drawings to take measurements to generate Bill of Quantities
- Managing sub-contractor and supplier quotations
- Provide a detailed handover to the construction team when projects commence and in some instances fulfil the site surveying role
