Murraywood Construction have always considered apprenticeships as an excellent way of recruiting the future of construction.
If we can do this whilst recruiting from the community in which we are working then that makes the initiative worthwhile.
Whilst working on two major projects within Liverpool City Centre we recruited apprentices in various fields including administration, groundworks and engineering. All were from the Liverpool postcode area or had attended local education facilities.
In early 2020 Morgan Sindall held an apprentice breakfast event for all of the apprentices working on their projects in Liverpool.
They all received a certificate recognising their achievements and attended a presentation from various contributors reaffirming they were the future of our industry and congratulated them on forging their own path.
Pictured above are our four local apprentices who attended this event – Liam, Chloe, Rhea and Sam (left to right) with Steve Rotherham, the Metro Mayor of Liverpool.
