Overview

Multi-national company Amazon commissioned the construction of a new £50 million fulfilment centre in 2016 which created 1,200 new full time jobs on the Omega South complex in Warrington.

This location, along with Amazon’s Tilbury location which we have also previously done works on, facilitated the introduction of Amazon Robotics to try and improve their service for customers.

What did we do?

For this project, we were appointed to do the mezzanine floor foundations, breakout the ground floor slab, construct the external substructures and retaining walls and install service trenches and ducting.

We also put in internal and external drainage, road formation and tarmac, as well as attendance to ground stabilisation and soft landscaping.
