Joining Murraywood in 2013 at the of 17 to work as a general labourer on the Manchester City Academy site and was given the opportunity to work alongside the engineers. I found the engineering aspect of the project very interesting and approached my site manager at the time and asked if it would be possible for me to do this as a career within the business.
I attended Manchester College to undertake my Level 3 in Construction(1 year) before progressing to the HNC (2 year) Diploma. I was able to do these whilst working on various sites around the North West, being mentored and instructed by very good qualified engineers.
Murraywood have supported me through my education and practical training, putting me with some good engineers on sites so I can get the best out of my courses and the mentors assigned.
Working for Murraywood has been and continues to be a good experience, no two days are the same.
